I was born and raised in Minnetonka, MN where I still reside with my wife, Jessica and daughter, Landry. I started playing baseball when I was six years old which led me to the amazing experience of playing in the ’85 Little League World Series with the East Tonka Little League team out of Bennett Family Park. I graduated from Minnetonka High School (MHS) in 1991 and was inducted into the MHS Hall of Fame in 2010.

In 1994 after my junior year at the University of Minnesota I was drafted in the sixth round by the Texas Rangers, commencing my professional baseball career. 26 professional seasons later - I've been part of 15 different Major League organizations, played in Japan, Italy, Venezuela and for two different Independent teams. I spent five years as a Pitching Coach with the Kansas City Royals, concluding as 2015 World Series Champions. I then became the Pitching Coordinator for the Chicago Cubs, again winning the World Series in 2016. I spent 2018-19 in the Major Leagues with the Seattle Mariners as their Assistant Pitching Coach and then Bullpen Pitching Coach.

2020 - After 26 years I have made the decision to step away from professional baseball and focus on two of my biggest passions… family and my elite baseball development company, Brower Baseball. We take the data and information from cutting edge technology currently trusted at the professional ranks and combine it with a Major League level of instruction.

I’m so excited to take Brower Baseball from an off-season offering into a year-round training opportunity here in my home state of Minnesota! As the founder of Brower Baseball, I admit I will forever be a student of the game. Throughout my well-traveled career, I’ve played and worked with some of the best and brightest in all of Major League baseball. Interacting with these All-Stars gave me a direct look into what baseball’s greatest players did to achieve success. To name a few:

My experiences, including the highs and lows, have given me a deep-rooted respect for baseball and values that enable me to relate and connect with players and coaches of all ages and levels.

I am excited to create a culture within Brower Baseball that develops and guides players towards becoming the best version of themselves… allowing them to absolutely CRUSH it… both on and off the field.
